All About Mrs. Hoffman
I have lived in Maryland for 10 years and have really enjoyed exploring all that Maryland has to offer. Before moving to Maryland I lived in Michigan and before that I lived in Florida. I love both places dearly and try to visit both as often as I can. I come from a large family and have brothers and sisters all over the United States. I love it because I get to travel to different places to see them. I am an avid reader and I love to share my love of books with my students. I also like to go hiking, listen to music, and cheer on any Michigan State sports team. GO SPARTANS!
I have two daughters; Delia who is 3 and Ella who is 8 months. They keep us very busy! Delia loves to read books and go the park. Ella just started crawling and she loves getting into everything she can, especially electronics! We have a great time going to the park, dancing, and reading lots of books!
I received my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, in Elementary Education, with minors in Environmental Science and History. I love the fourth grade curriculum; we get to do many science investigations and study important events in history! In 2010, I received my Masters in Reading Education from Johns Hopkins University. I enjoy learning new things and look forward to continuing my education through out my teaching career.
